9/11

Ten years ago today I was in middle school when my teacher received a call. Her sister called to tell her  the horrible news. To our surprise she was then called out of class by the principle and told that we were having an assembly. She returned to the class room and told us the news. The minutes to days following this tragedy are very blurry to me. Fast forward to 2011 and this tragedy had impacted me by showing me the spirit of my state. New Yorkers will rise to the occasion given the opportunity. Today will be forever in our minds, God Bless all the victims and survivors.
